Seemingly appearing from nowhere, REMIX quickly made a bit of a name for themself in the criminal scene over the past few years, committing petty theft or larceny on a frequent enough basis that their name never quite escaped the news. They had frequently been seen amongst crowds at raves and rock shows while not on the heist.

Career

First popping up near the age of 16 in the Apopkan slums, REMIX originally was known particularly well for petty theft, seeming to have a specific eye on grocery stores and other chain businesses. However, over the course of a few years, they found themself with their eyes on a new target—if not spotted in small crime activity, they were always in the periphery of the rich, famous, and otherwise elite of their city, never quite stealing enough to be enemy no. 1, but always made a point to get their face on camera during their escapes.

Slowly but surely, they garnered themself a cult following in the alternative scene emerging underground in Apopka Lights, and maintained their position as a personable, eccentric, and overall enjoyable person to be around both in the crowds of raves, and on the stage of rock shows. It can be said that REMIX was one of the individuals that spearheaded the movement in opposition of the strong class divide in Apopka, having spoken out many times at The Turn and other protests, and it was rumored until a recent confirmation that it was one of if not the highest donor to many charities across the city, using their stolen funds as a way to give back to their community under the guise of an anonymous donor.

Mark

REMIX's Mark, seen by the blue mark on their face, is called IMPULSIVE HUES, which is the power to create portals. They can only manifest two at a time (one to enter, one to exit), and they will close after any one singular "body" (be that a person, object, what have you) goes through them. Things may be carried through the barrier as long as they make full contact. They are both obnoxiously bright and covered in a mix of their red-pink and indigo-blue, and the color does not seem to matter when it comes to differentiating entrance and exit.

Upon a further inspection of their abilities, REMIX's portals are only as useful as their knowledge of a space—as common sense may dictate, they cannot place a portal (entrance or exit) in a location that they have not been able to see in person before, for they must know where the exact location of the portal in space will be. In addition, it is not an absolute impossibility for them to bring multiple things through any one portal, though it seems to take an extreme amount of effort for them to do so, in or out of high-stakes situations.

Gear

REMIX carried no specific gear on their body. Despite what speculation may propose, the arm-bands were just to look cool.

  • While they're not the best singer (unless you enjoy off-key yelling), they are reported to be a great guitarist.

  • Most alternative venues in Apopka have begun to keep red-indigo light presets for their inevitable unannounced entrances.

Arthur Quinn	Their nefarious housemate that they love to mess with. Why is he so hung up on being better a better thief than them? Doesn't it make more sense to want to be a better person? REMIX understands everything now. They're entrusting everything to you, now, Arthur Quinn. They love you.
Eye Guy	One of their housemates. This kid needs a bit more guidance, they think. Her heart is in the right place, but with such a polarized view on right and wrong, well... REMIX worries that she may take a wrong term in the name of 'beating villains'. They hope she thinks they're cool. They should have taken her on that whirlwind tour of Apopka Lights sooner. They hope she'll be able to find someone else to take her.
Lady Blanche / Acedia Reed	One of their first mission buddies. They think she has a kickass sense of style and humor, and is a super-dependable person. They're thankful that she made it out better than them. They'll have to talk to her about a costume upgrade sometime. They should have known it was too good to be true. They wish they had the foresight to connect the dots. Be glad that you weren't what did them in, Acedia Reed.
Georgy Joy	CHECK OUT MY BUDDY! They greatly enjoyed being around Georgy during their first mission, and was glad to have garnered such a friendship in the process, even if she's a little intimidating sometimes. They still hold onto that bracelet she gave them. They didn't even get to say goodbye.
Mx. Cupid	One of their housemates. They won't pry into what she does with her money as long as she doesn't mention the fact that she's absolutely the kind of person that's their usual target. They want to get together again for brunch soon, bestie! ♥
Tyche	One of their housemates. They never really got to meet before the second mission, but REMIX knows that Tyche is an unbound force for good. They hope that she can keep directing that fire in the right direction. They're also a little thankful for what Tyche's embarrassment brought them briefly, even if uncalled for.
Ripley Pond	One of their first mission buddies. They didn't talk much until after the mission, but REMIX appreciated him for all of the stuff he was put through with them, especially in the end of it all.
Agent 69	One of their first mission buddies. They think he's a big, lame jerk, but only a little. They couldn't imagine of what being stripped of any identity would feel like. Trying to mentally fit into Cancer's shoes terrifies them.
The King of Hearts	Avoid at all costs. They would rather not take a trip to the hospital again.
Teagan Hoover	One of their second mission buddies. They think he's funny, and even if a little insensitive or unfocused at times, always pulls through in the end.
T-9204	One of their first mission buddies. Quiet and dependable. They didn't vibe much together, but REMIX can respect someone whose goal is just to get the job done.
Balthazar	This guy is literally a tree. They think he's fucking awesome. They hope Balthazar accomplishes... whatever it is that Balthazar is setting out to do, here.
Mika Hamasaki	Jesus christ, this guy is cool. Note to self, dial the coolness up to eleven in any and all future interactions. Stick it to the man.
Skylar Beaumont	Good kid. They only briefly talked, but it gets the feeling that they're gonna go on to do great things.
Yúzé Astor	They only talked briefly, but they thought this guy was funny as shit.
