The Merchant is a merchandising salesperson, designer, and civilian residing in Apopka Lights. They are best known for their popular hero and villain merch and apparel business, Mercs & Dice, and for their appearances at various superhero and supervillain-related events around The Land as a merchandise vendor selling limited-edition collector's items.

Career
Mercs & Dice
The Merchant founded Mercs & Dice on September 30th, 2064 shortly after being seen as a vendor at various hero and villain conventions, conferences, and marketplaces selling handmade fan merchandise earlier in the year. Their ubiquitous nature being found at many events and on the road traveling between cities along with their ambiguous identity had garnered the public's attention. Many began calling them The Travelling Merchant or The Merchant for short, and they would later adopt that name as part of their branding. Shortly afterward, Mercs & Dice was found collaborating with various heroes and villains to release custom merchandise collections with many customers praising the business's quality of goods.
The Merchant is also known for developing personal commissions and luxury goods for high-end clients and product lines such as the Bleeding Heart collection of plushies and their limited-edition variants.
Abilities and Gear
Mark
The Merchant's mark allows him to conjure a tool out of solid light that can change form at will. This allows The Merchant can switch between different fighting styles with the same weapon. Its name has yet to be revealed. However, during the first Project Perihelion mission, they appeared to use it to protect civilian hostages from a bank robbery by The Clovers.

Not much is known about The Merchant's personal life as they refuse interviews, but they can be found on quack.com representing the Mercs & Dice brand account.
