Career

Early Career

Solak was born and raised in Apopka Lights, and became a ballet dancer at a young age, using her Mark's abilities as a form of special effects during performances (which happened primarily on full moons). She garnered quite a following, becoming a minor celebrity within the city, alongside fellow dancer Theia Sonnhild.

The Gökada

During their twenties, Solak and Sonnhild began to discuss among Marked fans the idea of revering the moon and sun as religious figures; the sun, due to the Flare originating from the sun and both the moon and sun influencing Solak and Sonnhild's powers. The two began to gather a following with this notion, soon known as the cult The Gökada, and in their late twenties the two moved with this group into the Eclipse Range, to the mountain and valley of Lodestar Peak.

Cult Activity

Since moving into the Eclipse Range, little has been heard about The Gökada or its leaders, as they live mostly self-sufficiently and typically only leave for missionary work. However, their literature and scripture has often been received in more major towns and cities, and there have been a steady stream of disappearances attributed to people leaving to join the cult. After the Moon Detonation Incident, their activity and numbers have spiked; though it's hard to pin down an exact number of cultists, they have become far more active outside of their commune, with missionaries being more frequently sighted. Only rumours have surfaced about their activities thus far, though tales of sacrifices and extreme lifestyles in the name of worship have circulated.

Personal life

Solak was alleged to be in a romantic relationship with the other leading member of The Gökada, Theia Sonnhild. The two performed together for many years, and began their cult together.

Abilities and Gear

Solak was previously rated as an Opera level marked individual. Their mark, Ay Ata's Comet, allowed the user to absorb reflected moonlight, and use it to create and control energy, mostly in the form of blasts and trails. This Mark was most powerful when the moon was fullest, as that allowed for the most moonlight to be absorbed. Solak was known to use this ability primarily for their ballet career, using the trails of light as special effects.

However, after the Moon Detonation Incident, missionaries have confirmed that Solak had lost the capacity of most of her Mark, only being able to produce primarily small sparks from distant moonlight.

Members of the Gökada have been identified by a particular bracelet, with black leather straps and an attached moonstone gem, so it can be assumed Solak also wore one of these bracelets.
