Their main weapon is a pair of melee gauntlets that can channel electricity supplied by Zap!. Additionally, the gauntlets are fitted with small projectiles that cover long ranges.

Due to the lack of information on Ziip, discussion on them mostly falls under conjecture.

• Zap! and Ziip have clearly formed a hero team, but it's unclear who would be considered the sidekick in this arrangement.
  • People arguing that Zap! is the sidekick point out that they seems to be younger than Ziip, and have more sidekick energy.^{[citation needed]}
  • People arguing that Ziip is the sidekick point out that Ziip arrived second, and is following the design sensiblities and naming scheme of Zap!.
• The identity of Ziip is unknown, but people have speculated over what it might be.
  • Ziip only appeared after the Penumbra's Parley Massacre had concluded. Zap! had arrived at the Parley and helped the hostages during the events. Two of the survivors of the Massacre went into hiding, Mitsu Nomura and Casey Pollock #38523. People theorize that Ziip may be one of those two.
    • However this line of theorizing has also drawn criticism for being too much speculation about the survivors of such a tragic event, and potentially putting those survivors at risk if it's true.
