William Bosco, aka Mannequin Master, is a former New Chiti hero and current supervillain. Bosco is the creator of numerous constructs that carry out crimes independently across the city, and is responsible for their command. He is a notorious hermit and has not been seen publicly in several years, his position in the city mediated by prominent construct Mr. Patches.
Early Career
Upon initial entrance into the public spotlight, Bosco was a prominent superhero and community figurehead within the Pawny borough. A majority of their early work involved utilizing several different life-sized constables to watch and patrol street corners in order to interfere with gang activity in the area. Bosco continued this for several years, building up a large amount of trust within the community while also providing protective services in conjunction with city police for numerous public events. During this time, many local residents cited Bosco as the premier protector of Pawny.
This carried on until September 29, 2067, when the constables began to vandalize local property and harass citizens for unknown reasons. Moving forward, Bosco’s creations began to commit crimes on a large scale, ultimately solidifying his new identity as a villain.
Time as Villain
During this time, Bosco officially began utilizing the title of Mannequin Master and became exceptionally reclusive. Moving forward, all public interaction was mediated via the construct Mr. Patches, who additionally led several large scale crime sprees with the assistance of large armies of constructs.
Bosco’s most prominent act during this period was the complete takeover over several blocks within Pawny for several weeks, utilizing them as a base of operations until repelled back into indeterminate hiding following the intervention of several city heroes.
Mark
Bosco’s mark, Together by Thread, enables them to imbue sentient and sapient life into constructs. ‘Constructs’ are born from humanoid objects (mannequins, dolls, statues) with a simple command and a purpose, which is stored in a plush heart within their bodies. Constructs cannot be killed unless the plush heart is destroyed, or their body is completely destroyed. Additionally, they can be combined or repaired with any other humanoid object, including other constructs. There is no apparent limit to the number of constructs they are able to produce.
A vast majority of the Mannequin Master’s army consists of mannequins and dolls, however there are a small number of former city statues that have been stolen from public spaces.
