The only son of King Jean-Luc Cain, Thomas I ruled from 2030-2050 and was responsible for most of the city's working public infrastructure. He was adopted specifically to be an heir to the throne after passing several assessments and was trained extensively in anything a ruler may benefit from. He was a calculating and efficient ruler who cared less for charisma compared to result.
He was succeeded by the eldest of his two sons, Thomas II, after dying suddenly and unexpectedly. He was known for raising his kids with the childhood he couldn't have, sheltering them from the pressure and expectations but subsequently not preparing them for the future. His other son, Duke Wilk Cain, and daughter have no political responsibilities other than being figureheads.
