Theseus (Aka Zelda Campbell) is a villainous vigilante from Apopka Lights. Prior to her villainous turn, she was a hero known as 'Lieutenant Limbs.' Her mark, Seamless Transplant, allows her to copy people's body parts and give them to herself or others.
Hero Career
In 2068, Theseus began her career as a professional prosthetist, creating and transplanting prosthetics for mostly high-society clientele. Within a few years she developed a superhero persona, 'Lieutenant Limbs', somewhat campy in branding. Her rise in popularity had an unusually strong start, finding herself in various advertisements and PSAs. As a hero, she began expanding the opportunities she afforded others, sometimes doing transplants for others just with other people's body parts, and developing more and more complicated prosthetics for people. As time went on, her public appearances began to grow further and fewer between, serving richer and richer clients. She still managed to maintain moderate popularity despite this.
Theseus's career as a hero lasted until 2075.
Villain Career
In August of 2075, Theseus donned her modern look and broke into Hampford and Graham, an Apopkan law firm. She slaughtered 33 employees and executives, primarily via gunshot. This event was plastered all over Apopkan news and was well documented, lots of witnesses and security camera footage undoubtedly verifying her culpability in the crime. Within a couple months, Hampford and Graham declared bankruptcy and shut down. Following the attack, Theseus began her vigilante career, reappearing every few months to carry out murderous attacks on rich and high-notoriety targets, most of which have been successful. Several of these murders involved Theseus transforming her body into another person to infiltrate places that would be difficult to access, while many others involve her simply breaking in, known for smashing through windows into high-rise offices.
Theseus has been seen wielding prosthetic weapons during some of her attacks, such as attached guns, laser weapons and slashing tools. Generally, her attacks are very dramatic and violent in nature. In private interviews, she has stated that she does this to try to inflict fear in those who could be targets of hers. She also claims that all of her targets are corrupt individuals that the world is better without, people who inflict suffering on the general public. At current, she is accredited with having killed 116 people, but there is some speculation as to the accuracy of this number.
Trivia
- In her time as a hero, Theseus was known to have a particularly strong relationship with fellow hero, Lucifer (Aka Helga Vance). Theseus's modern wings and arms are observed to be copied from Lucifer.
- Theseus's villain name wasn't her own creation. Following her villainous turn, individuals on quack began to put forth new ideas on what to call her. The most popular one of these was 'Theseus', which she later officially adapted for herself.
- Theseus has never killed anyone younger than 23 years old.
