Previously York Accounting, Pond Financials was founded in 2009 by Kenny James York and James "Jim" Pond. Known for their past honesty and reputable nature, Pond Financials were respected as an economic staple for many businesses within the city. Their willingness to work alongside gang-affiliated businesses, all the while establishing barriers and safe transaction methods for many Chitizens in need of monetary guidance, allowed them a steady foothold until their company eventually dissolved to loss of management in 2079.

History

Kenny and Jim opened Pond Financials in 2009 as a way to relieve the monetary burden off of several New Chiti businesses at the time. Workflow was steady, built upon an establishment of trust and security that was rare within the city, allowing the pair to forge a path for several establishments that still happen to thrive today. In 2021, Kenny passed away of a heart attack, leaving Jim and his wife McCurdy alone to run everything left behind. Somehow, they managed an almost record high turnout for the next several years, the loss of Kenny mourned by several big players in the area, and a reliance strengthened toward the family's deft hand in management.

In 2059, Jim Pond fell ill and died on the operating table. This left his son and daughter in law, Carlton and Polly Pond, to take hands and start over once more. While the transition was rough, and several customers pulled out after the tragedy, they managed to keep the business afloat for the next two decades.

In 2079, Carlton and Polly Pond died tragically in a motor vehicle accident. With no willing heir to the business, investors took over and sold the company.
