The Dray Poets' Society is one of the most notorious clubs in Laurel High. It's a group for fans of poetry and writing in general, and a place for aspiring creatives to spread their wings and transcribe what their heart is saying deep inside. Anyone is free to join and pick up a pen, especially Unmarked students who aren't seeking Hero training.
Notable Current Members
- Jessica Jess, the current leader of the club, stylish and decisive. Loves a good pair of JNCO jeans. Favorite genre: nonfiction.
- Tamara Pérez, the club's event planner and PR manager. She makes sure to sing the DPS' praises and hype up her girl-friends. Favorite genre: satire.
- Andi Garnier, the club's treasurer and top 10 richest girl in school. She loves the sound of cold hard cash, and beautiful sonnets. Favorite genre: romantic music.
- Heather Winks, the club's biggest fairy enthusiast and unabashed weeaboo. Here to party with the gals and gush about pop poetry. Favorite genre: magical girls!!!
- Tia Laouali handles the club's inauguration process, welcoming new members and helping them out when writer's block hits. Favorite genre: mystery.
Former Members
- Shiori Yagami was the leader of the club, boasting some notoriety for her Mark, As It Is Written, allowing her to bring words to life. She retreated from club activity following a "freak accident" of some kind. Favorite genre: drama.
- Alyssa Wake, formerly the club's event planner, left after discovering a passion for making spreadsheets. Favorite genre: horror.
- Lisa DeLaney, better known as the Eye Guy, became the most notable member of the club. Her superhero career began after she had left, presumably to pursue her own ambitions. Favorite genre: superhero fantasy.
- Melody Mondschein was a quiet girl who used to work primarily as an editor of the club, although she would sometimes show her own writing. However, Melody mostly stuck to talking to her online best friend rather than connecting much with anyone else in the club. She graduated two years ago. Favorite genre: Lyric Poetry
Controversy
The Dray Poets' Society has been suspected of being affiliated with recent villain activity, if not directly correlated with the rise of the superhero Eye Guy and her arch-nemesis, The Poet.
