Daisy Shepard Lab and Research Facility

Daisy Shepard Lab and Research Facility, or, rarely, "DSLARF", was founded over 80 years ago by top entomologist Daisy Shepard, her and her lab were key to helping scientist understand how Marks have changed nature. The lab was physically located on the Cytopian side of Ebon Woods, allowing it to study many Marked insects, plants, and animals. It's distance from city proper also allowed the researchers to work on any dangerous or confidential projects.

End of Daisy Shepard Lab

The lab was destroyed in an incident where supervillains Firestorm and Eden Hope attacked the center looking to steal the research. Twelve were injured and five died, including unmarked employees Francis Kelsey, father of Christian Kelsey, and Mawuli Owiti, during a heroic effort where the two destroyed the research before the villains could get their hands on it. Medals were awarded postmortem in their honor. The perpetrators remain imprisoned and likely will remain so for a long time.
