Markive Of Our Own

Markive of Our Own (often shortened to MO3) is a nonprofit open-source repository for fanfiction and other fanworks contributed by users, mostly around the existence of both heroes and villains. The site was created in 2065 by the Organization for Transformative Works and went into open beta in 2066 and continues to be in beta. As of 1 April 2081, Markive of Our Own hosts 2,530,000 works. The site has received generally positive reception for its curation, organization, and design, mostly done by readers and writers of fanfiction. Outside of it's userbase, however, it draws heavy criticism over the fact most of the subject matter is about those who really existed, or even still exist today.
