Bloodsuckers is the name of the villainous duo comprised of Parasite and Desmo. Their primary city of operation is Apopka Lights, however they have been known to branch out elsewhere. Catching them both is hard, but the only option- If one gets caught, the other will undoubtedly stop at nothing to free her partner.

Bloodsuckers seem to have separate motives despite operating as a single unit. Parasite has stated that her motive is the thrill of anarchy, while Desmo has been on record claiming that she wishes to provide Parasite with a lavish and comfortable life.

They primarily target nightclubs, robbing the establishments and taking inebriated patrons to use their marks on. While Desmo's mark usage rarely results in severe consequences, Parasite's has been the cause of many premature deaths.

They have been operating for the past 20 years, with regular periods of silence followed by activity.

Additionally, her screech can cause deafness for a short period of time, and her hearing is extremely sensitive.

== Career ==
Dana was enlisted into the Ranwellian military at age 18, as per the marked enlistment laws. Her mark allowed her to excel within the cavalry service, and she served for a successful 20 years before retiring honorably at age 38. Currently she specializes in taking in injured or mistreated horses, tending to them, and then sending them to new homes.

Dana is physically very fit, with a powerful presence. She's also adept at using firearms, especially from horseback.

'Stallion's Bond' allows Dana to form an instant bond with any horse no matter how wild. This allows her to safely and skillfully ride horses under circumstances that would usually be extremely dangerous or downright impossible.

It appears as a golden horseshoe on her chest.

Naoko Shimizu is a notorious serial killer, currently imprisoned in [[Cytopia]]. As of 2081, she has served 10 years of her 17 consecutive life sentences. Her crimes shook the community of [[New Chiti]], and called into question the lack regulations that medical professionals need to operate in the area.

==Early life==
Not much of Shimizu's early life is known, but by her own account, she has had close affiliations with the now-defunct [[Church of the Fated God]] (based in Cytopia) throughout her childhood. By her late teens, she had moved to New Chiti and set up a dental office in an abandoned clinic. This was the location a majority of her crimes were committed. The location has since been demolished, and remains an empty plot to this day.

==Criminal Activity==
At first, the illegal clinic operated primarily on a barter system. Shimizu was known to have accepted a down payment of a tooth for each new patient, and offered her own services for removal if the tooth wasn't already extracted. She also accepted other unorthodox forms of payment, such as medical gear and chemical substances. However, the first reported death was recorded in 2067, marking an approximately four year trail of murders that ended in the deaths of 17 total victims.

Her criminal activity was stopped in early 2071, when Apopkan hero [[Mx. Syzygy]] subdued the progressively more powerful Shimizu by foreseeing her incoming ambush. The resulting clash caused significant structural damage to the theater Mx. Syzygy had been performing at, but no Civilians were injured. Mx. Syzygy used a mix of deflective attacks using her constellation shield, and offensive strategies designed to trap Shimizu, whose own strategy primarily relied on stealth and sneak attacks. These were rendered useless against Mx. Syzygy's foresight, and Shimizu was finally defeated when she became ensnared in a constellation web.

Post-arrest analysis has revealed that the nature of Shimizu's crimes progressively grew in violence and intensity over this period. While the first of her victims could be easily identified by officials, later deaths revealed vicious mutilations deemed to be the results of torture.

===Methodology & Ideology===
Shimizu described in her own words at trial her method of choosing and killing a victim. ''"It was hardly anything personal. Indeed, there is a similar link between my victims- They all had wonderful smiles. I would learn their schedules, their routines, and organize a later appointment time. As they entered the clinic, I would... Incapacitate them. Yes, via chloroform, or cruder methods. It was most efficient."''

When pressed for a motive, Shimizu was recorded to break into a fit of laughter. According to official statement, she claimed that it was a 'means to an end', repeating that none of the murders were personal.

The trial was over within just a few months, as the Shimizu admitted to every crime with little reluctance.

Footage of her trial went viral in certain circles online, with her offputting behaviour and apparent lack of remorse inviting discussion from fans and detractors alike.

Hyperdontia is a volatile mark that relies on the amount, and types, of teeth possessed by the user. Teeth from a marked creature allow the user to inherit the original mark's properties, at a muted strength. Unmarked teeth offer no special abilities, but gradually boost the user's physical and mark abilities without a known upper limit. At its most powerful, Hyperdontia can utilize hundreds of marks at maximum strength- The only drawback being the impossibility of carrying that many teeth.

If a tooth is destroyed, the user can no longer use it.

The better condition the tooth is in, the more benefits it offers.

===Gear===
Naoko has been stripped of all but 7 external teeth while on base at the Pentagon, which she wears as a necklace. She is outfitted with a house arrest anklet, which tracks her information directly to her Parole officer [[Lexi Holland]].

On missions, Naoko may be given additional teeth. Additionally, she is given her trusty dental equipment back- Including access to chloroform.

Flick Sinclair is a currently enlisted soldier from [[Republic of Randwell|Randwell]]. He is not known as a crime fighter, but his efforts in animal rescue and rehabilitation have earned him some minor renown in the areas of his home city. His most obvious identifier is his goat-like features.

Sinclair's enlistment into the military is a recent development, as for the previous 7 years he claimed inability to serve due to various disabilities. He is currently stationed in [[New Chiti]], where he has set up a rudimentary animal shelter in a rented warehouse.

Flick Sinclair is a currently enlisted soldier from [[Republic of Randwell|Randwell]]. He is not known as a crime fighter, but his efforts in animal rescue and rehabilitation have earned him some minor renown in the areas of his home city. His most obvious identifier is his goat-like features.

Sinclair's enlistment into the military is a recent development, as for the previous 7 years he claimed inability to serve due to various disabilities. He is currently stationed in [[New Chiti]], where he has set up a rudimentary animal shelter in a rented warehouse.

Flick carries various types of animal (and human) treats in his pack. On missions, he also uses a whip as a weapon.

In 2072, he reunited with his daughter Elsa Nissan, more commonly known under her Hero alias as [[Pestläkare]]. She was 14 at the time. From this point onward, he assumed the role of her primary guardian.

==Controversy==
During his early employment, Saltfair Academy faced criticism for hiring a marked teacher, claiming that Rosen had an unfair advantage over others and citing concerns that his credits was falsified. Despite this, Rosen remained in his teaching position, going on to state that he'd "Worked just as hard to receive [his] degree as any unmarked man, and [he is] disheartened by the response." In another interview, he followed up on this statement by stating "I believe that even if the marked percentage of students is much less than the unmarked, those kids deserve to be shown that they can do good things, too. I want to be that role model for them." Rosen was then reported to have tripped over a power cord as he hurriedly exited the room, carrying a piece of buttered toast in his mouth.

Following the Penumbra's Parley Massacre, Rosen faced extensive scrutiny and backlash for his relation to Pestläkare. Many parents of Saltfair's student body called into question his ability to guide their children, and what sort of influence he might have on them given the actions of his own daughter. Flick Sinclair is a currently enlisted soldier from Randwell. He is not known as a crime fighter, but his efforts in animal rescue and rehabilitation have earned him some minor renown in the areas of his home city. His most obvious identifier is his goat-like features.

Sinclair's enlistment into the military is a recent development, as for the previous 7 years he claimed inability to serve due to various disabilities. He is currently stationed in New Chiti, where he has set up a rudimentary animal shelter in a rented warehouse.

Naoko Shimizu is a notorious serial killer, currently imprisoned in [[Cytopia]]. As of 2081, she has served 10 years of her 17 consecutive life sentences. Her crimes shook the community of [[New Chiti]], and called into question the lack regulations that medical professionals need to operate in the area.

==Early life==
Not much of Shimizu's early life is known, but by her own account, she has had close affiliations with the now-defunct [[Church of the Fated God]] (based in Cytopia) throughout her childhood. By her late teens, she had moved to New Chiti and set up a dental office in an abandoned clinic. This was the location a majority of her crimes were committed. The location has since been demolished, and remains an empty plot to this day.

==Criminal Activity==
At first, the illegal clinic operated primarily on a barter system. Shimizu was known to have accepted a down payment of a tooth for each new patient, and offered her own services for removal if the tooth wasn't already extracted. She also accepted other unorthodox forms of payment, such as medical gear and chemical substances. However, the first reported death was recorded in 2067, marking an approximately four year trail of murders that ended in the deaths of 17 total victims.

Her criminal activity was stopped in early 2071, when Apopkan hero [[Mx. Syzygy]] subdued the progressively more powerful Shimizu by foreseeing her incoming ambush. The resulting clash caused significant structural damage to the theater Mx. Syzygy had been performing at, but no Civilians were injured. Mx. Syzygy used a mix of deflective attacks using her constellation shield, and offensive strategies designed to trap Shimizu, whose own strategy primarily relied on stealth and sneak attacks. These were rendered useless against Mx. Syzygy's foresight, and Shimizu was finally defeated when she became ensnared in a constellation web.

Post-arrest analysis has revealed that the nature of Shimizu's crimes progressively grew in violence and intensity over this period. While the first of her victims could be easily identified by officials, later deaths revealed vicious mutilations deemed to be the results of torture.

Shimizu described in her own words at trial her method of choosing and killing a victim. ''"It was hardly anything personal. Indeed, there is a similar link between my victims- They all had wonderful smiles. I would learn their schedules, their routines, and organize a later appointment time. As they entered the clinic, I would... Incapacitate them. Yes, via chloroform, or cruder methods. It was most efficient."''

When pressed for a motive, Shimizu was recorded to break into a fit of laughter. According to official statement, she claimed that it was a 'means to an end', repeating that none of the murders were personal.

The trial was over within just a few months, as the Shimizu admitted to every crime with little reluctance.

Footage of her trial went viral in certain circles online, with her offputting behaviour and apparent lack of remorse inviting discussion from fans and detractors alike.

Hyperdontia is a volatile mark that relies on the amount, and types, of teeth possessed by the user. Teeth from a marked creature allow the user to inherit the original mark's properties, at a muted strength. Unmarked teeth offer no special abilities, but gradually boost the user's physical and mark abilities without a known upper limit. At its most powerful, Hyperdontia can utilize hundreds of marks at maximum strength- The only drawback being the impossibility of carrying that many teeth.

If a tooth is destroyed, the user can no longer use it.

The better condition the tooth is in, the more benefits it offers.

Naoko has been stripped of all but 7 external teeth while on base at the Pentagon, which she wears as a necklace. She is outfitted with a house arrest anklet, which tracks her information directly to her Parole officer [[Lexi Holland]].

Naoko Shimizu is a notorious serial killer, currently imprisoned in [[Cytopia]]. As of 2081, she has served 10 years of her 17 consecutive life sentences. Her crimes shook the community of [[New Chiti]], and called into question the lack regulations that medical professionals need to operate in the area.

==Early life==
Not much of Shimizu's early life is known, but by her own account, she has had close affiliations with the now-defunct [[Church of the Fated God]] (based in Cytopia) throughout her childhood. By her late teens, she had moved to New Chiti and set up a dental office in an abandoned clinic. This was the location a majority of her crimes were committed. The location has since been demolished, and remains an empty plot to this day.

==Criminal Activity==
At first, the illegal clinic operated primarily on a barter system. Shimizu was known to have accepted a down payment of a tooth for each new patient, and offered her own services for removal if the tooth wasn't already extracted. She also accepted other unorthodox forms of payment, such as medical gear and chemical substances. However, the first reported death was recorded in 2067, marking an approximately four year trail of murders that ended in the deaths of 17 total victims.

Her criminal activity was stopped in early 2071, when New Chiti hero (NAMEHERE) subdued the progressively more powerful Shimizu by (METHODHERE).

Post-arrest analysis has revealed that the nature of Shimizu's crimes progressively grew in violence and intensity over this period. While the first of her victims could be easily identified by officials, later deaths revealed vicious mutilations deemed to be the results of torture.

Shimizu described in her own words at trial her method of choosing and killing a victim. ''"It was hardly anything personal. Indeed, there is a similar link between my victims- They all had wonderful smiles. I would learn their schedules, their routines, and organize a later appointment time. As they entered the clinic, I would... Incapacitate them. Yes, via chloroform, or cruder methods. It was most efficient."''

When pressed for a motive, Shimizu was recorded to break into a fit of laughter. According to official statement, she claimed that it was a 'means to an end', repeating that none of the murders were personal.

The trial was over within just a few months, as the Shimizu admitted to every crime with little reluctance.

Footage of her trial went viral in certain circles online, with her offputting behaviour and apparent lack of remorse inviting discussion from fans and detractors alike.

Hyperdontia is a volatile mark that relies on the amount, and types, of teeth possessed by the user. Teeth from a marked creature allow the user to inherit the original mark's properties, at a muted strength. Unmarked teeth offer no special abilities, but gradually boost the user's physical and mark abilities without a known upper limit. At its most powerful, Hyperdontia can utilize hundreds of marks at maximum strength- The only drawback being the impossibility of carrying that many teeth.

If a tooth is destroyed, the user can no longer use it.

The better condition the tooth is in, the more benefits it offers.

Naoko Shimizu is a notorious serial killer, currently imprisoned in [[Cytopia]]. As of 2081, she has served 10 years of her 17 consecutive life sentences. Her crimes shook the community of [[New Chiti]], and called into question the lack regulations that medical professionals need to operate in the area.

== Early life ==
Not much of Shimizu's early life is known, but by her own account, she has had close affiliations with the now-defunct [[Church of the Fated God]] (based in Cytopia) throughout her childhood. By her late teens, she had moved to New Chiti and set up a dental office in an abandoned clinic. This was the location a majority of her crimes were committed. The location has since been demolished, and remains an empty plot to this day.

== Criminal Activity ==
At first, the illegal clinic operated primarily on a barter system. Shimizu was known to have accepted a down payment of a tooth for each new patient, and offered her own services for removal if the tooth wasn't already extracted. She also accepted other unorthodox forms of payment, such as medical gear and chemical substances. However, the first reported death was recorded in 2067, marking an approximately four year trail of murders that ended in the deaths of 17 total victims.

Her criminal activity was stopped in early 2071, when New Chiti hero (NAMEHERE) subdued the progressively more powerful Shimizu by (METHODHERE).

Post-arrest analysis has revealed that the nature of Shimizu's crimes progressively grew in violence and intensity over this period. While the first of her victims could be easily identified by officials, later deaths revealed vicious mutilations deemed to be the results of torture.

Shimizu described in her own words at trial her method of choosing and killing a victim. ''"It was hardly anything personal. Indeed, there is a similar link between my victims- They all had wonderful smiles. I would learn their schedules, their routines, and organize a later appointment time. As they entered the clinic, I would... Incapacitate them. Yes, via chloroform, or cruder methods. It was most efficient."''

When pressed for a motive, Shimizu was recorded to break into a fit of laughter. According to official statement, she claimed that it was a 'means to an end', repeating that none of the murders were personal.

The trial was over within just a few months, as the Shimizu admitted to every crime with little reluctance.

Footage of her trial went viral in certain circles online, with her offputting behaviour and apparent lack of remorse inviting discussion from fans and detractors alike.

Hyperdontia is a volatile mark that relies on the amount, and types, of teeth possessed by the user. Teeth from a marked creature allow the user to inherit the original mark's properties, at a muted strength. Unmarked teeth offer no special abilities, but gradually boost the user's physical and mark abilities without a known upper limit. At its most powerful, Hyperdontia can utilize hundreds of marks at maximum strength- The only drawback being the impossibility of carrying that many teeth.

If a tooth is destroyed, the user can no longer use it.

The better condition the tooth is in, the more benefits it offers.

Naoko has been stripped of all but 7 external teeth while on base at the Pentagon, which she wears as a necklace. She is outfitted with a house arrest anklet, which tracks her information directly to her Parole officer [[Lexi Holland]].

== Career ==
Elsa's career as an epidemiologist started in 2072, when she made headlines for paving the way in research for the respiratory illness Kryddad's Disease. Media covered her story extensively, kickstarting her career as a Hero and prompting her move to Cytopia to live with her father. While her career focused on epidemiology primarily, she also had notable credentials in the field of general medicine and biology.

During the 2074-75 period, Elsa focused heavily on her hypothesis that a rise in allergies in children was not due to an increase in allergens, but rather the result of changing societal comforts and lack of exposure to certain bacteria. Despite these claims and her research, she refused to conduct any trials, and apparently abandoned this research in the following year.

Following this, she made further discoveries in societal trends toward epidemics using unconventional means. In 2076, Elsa submitted a study on social behaviour within an epidemic scenario based on research made in the online MMORPG "Tales of War". An unknown hacker had corrupted the game serverside, initiating the spread of deadly 'debuffs' that would injure high level players and kill lower levels. Elsa claimed in her paper that the reactions of players ingame mirrored the reactions of people during outbreaks in the past, and suggested that by studying this behaviour in a microcosm, the Land could better prepare for a future disaster. While initially met with some derision, the media quickly praised Elsa for her innovative approach to research and usage of easy-to-digest material.

It was revealed during the Parley Massacre in 2080 that Elsa had been conducting research on the removal of marks, and had developed an experimental treatment referred to as CY-009. She is also credited as being the primary catalyst for the massacre itself, and was directly responsible for the death of Randwellian plant [[ScreenBurn]].

== Personal Life ==

Elsa's early life is well documented thanks to statements made by her mother [[Lilly Nissan]]. The validity of these claims is unverified, however, and for the sake of clarity only confirmed information will be recorded here.

Elsa was born in Draywood to parents Lilly Nissan and [[Henrik Rosen]]. Rosen left shortly before her birth, and she stated that she had no contact with him until 2072. Those asked have stated she was a shy and 'odd' child, rarely interacting with others and homeschooling for her entire early education. Despite this, she frequented digital lobbies of various online video games, and this is where her moniker "Pestläkare" is sourced to have originated.

Upon further investigation, it was found that this is where she first made contact with the villains [[Nine Lives]] and [[Moxie Divine]].

Elsa's mother was arrested on criminal charges in 2070 when Elsa was 12 years old. Following this, Elsa was placed into group home care, which she had gone on to describe as 'the worst experience in [her] life'. After making headlines for her research in 2072, Elsa was placed back into the care of her father Henrik Rosen. She maintained a low profile after this, only making news with advances in various trends of diseases on an infrequent basis.

She is not known to have had any other friends or major connections in this time, until her death in 2080.

== Abilities and Gear ==

Plague's Gambit acted as a conduit between two to three people, including Elsa herself. Referred to colloquially as 'wound transferal', Elsa could use her mark in any of three ways:

# A > B: Elsa's own wounds would be transferred to a second party.
# B > A: A second party's wounds would be transferred onto Elsa.
# B > C: Party B's wounds would be transferred onto Party C, with Elsa acting as the middle 'link'. In this occurrence, she would also feel a muted version of the wound's pain until the transferal was complete.

Plague's Gambit could only be used between creatures with a similar structure, or with equivalent parts of the body.

== Death ==
Elsa was killed during the Parley Massacre on the 20th September, 2080. Her cause of death was direct lethal injection by CY-009, after which her body was burned and then buried to prevent spread of infection.

It has been debated if she should be labelled as a Villain posthumously.

== Personal Life ==
Rosen was born in [[Cytopia]] in March 2033, and began studying botany from a reportedly young age. He moved to [[Draywood]] in 2051 at age 18 to further these studies due to their natural landscape, where he met and entered a relationship with [[Lilly Nissan]]. He returned to Cytopia in the winter of 2057 to pursue his career.

In 2072, he reunited with his daughter Elsa Nissan, more commonly known under her Hero alias as [[Pestläkare]]. She was 14 at the time. From this point onward, he assumed the role of her primary guardian.

== Controversy ==
Following the Penumbra's Parley Massacre, Rosen faced extensive scrutiny and backlash for his relation to Pestläkare. Many parents of Saltfair's student body called into question his ability to guide their children, and what sort of influence he might have on them given the actions of his own daughter. There were also accusations made that he was complicit in the Massacre's planning, although this has never been proven, and Rosen has not faced any legal repercussions.

Under pressure to do so from the school board, Rosen resigned from his position as headmaster for Saltfair All-Girls Academy and has since declined any comments when pressed by media.

Saltfair All-Girls Academy later released a statement disavowing Pestläkare's actions and ensuring the public that their school will take precautions moving forward in ensuring the student body is properly assessed for mental distress involving and related to the Parley Massacre.

As of 2081, public opinion around Rosen is terse, and he is widely regarded as a Villain by association.
