Operating in [[Apopka Lights]] a few years ago, '''Acedia Reed''' became known for her high-stakes heists and robberies. When she was arrested, it was discovered that her mark allowed her to put someone to sleep with a kiss, but she would mostly go without using this in her crimes. For the most part, she used her connections with people to spin a web of lies to get herself an 'in', where she'd rob the target before they even realized it. Her main M.O. would be leaving behind a card with a red lipstick stain on it. Because of various sightings and rumors, it's believed she also operated in different city-states. Beyond her crime spree, she became a popular gossip topic in Apopka because of her good looks and eccentric personality. She grew the ire of many wealthy persons within the city before she was caught. She also was known to model on occasion, before her name became too well-known for anything like that.

On June 21st, 2078, Acedia Reed successfully robbed [[Star's Heights Casino|Star Heights,]] where it would take until July 10th before the authorities managed to locate her and arrest her, returning a sizable majority of what was taken to the [[The King Of Hearts|casino]] [[The Diamond|owners]]. Beyond her primary crime of theft, she was also suspected of being involved in many murders and missing person cases, although those charges never had enough evidence. She's in prison for life for the robbery of the casino.

''Main Article: [[Lady Blanche]]''Acedia has used different names and identities throughout the years, assisted by her shapeshifting mark that she keeps under wraps. Her most notable identity, and the one used within the project, was Lady Blanche, a fashion designer. She originally created Lady Blanche as a 'high end' socialite persona to get closer to to rich targets, and using fashion shows as an excuse to nab things off of the patrons or slip ideas into their heads.

After robbing the Star Heights, Acedia had to put her prime identity to rest for awhile, and took over as Lady Blanche full time. To try and further get heat off her back, she moved to Draywood and took up the mantle of a costume designer. She used her established fame to create more and more trends, and eventually landed on trying to make masks as popular as they could be,

=Mark=
Publicly, Acedia's mark, "Dress Up!", allows her to change the clothes on her body with only a thought.

On the mission, ''Whatever It Fakes'', Acedia revealed (due to Oscar's annoyance), that her mark was much more powerful that she lets on. Her shapeshifting abilities extend her to body shape, height, and weight, allowing her to look and feel like a completely different person. A fellow starlet on base, one "'''Caelin Katze'''", was revealed to actually have been Acedia all along. The exact specifics of her mark are still unclear, with her avoiding answering too many questions on the matter.

Some details about her mark, according to her:

*She can hold objects in her clothing, and when she shifts her outfit, she can change the location on the object to a different pocket or place.
*Acedia cannot utilize the power of anything mechanical, but she can still give the appearance of it.
**For example, if Acedia had a watch on her wrist, it'd look the part, but the time would never change.
*While the clothes on her body are tangible and real, they disappear if she tries to take them off, or the 'real' equivalent is discarded.
*Her mark can shift it's location on her body, as long as it's still somewhere. She can also copy the mark design of others.
*Shifting is instant, and only requires a thought from Acedia.
*Even while sleeping, or unconscious, her mark doesn't 'drop'. It remains in the form she had taken.
*Acedia has stated that turning off her mark completely would be a risk to her health.

Acedia is a skilled impressionist, able to mimic a large range of voices. She's also capable of pickpocketing and lockpicking, and generally prefers to be sneaky rather than aggressive. While she's lacking in any combat scenario, she is rather quick, and is quick at assessing if she has any way to escape. Also, she's rich. Which doesn't really count, but throwing money at a problem is always an option.

With her ability to shapeshift, Acedia has a collection of fake identities that she uses whenever she pleases. She calls them her "dolls", and each one is based around one color, seemingly based on the range of colors she wears in her cape. This range only goes from orange to purple. In a conversation with Ripley Pond, she stated that these dolls were all, at least at some point, real people.

Acedia seems to have prewritten notes on how each person should think and feel, fully committing to no longer being "her", but rather, whomever the doll is. That said, she's also stated that personalities have gotten away from her, and she does whatever seems to best be in the moment. Some dolls are easier for her to be that others. Her personal favorite is the orange doll, and her least favorite is the blue doll.
