'''SNAKE''' was a terrorist organization operating out of [[Apopka Lights]], founded in 2066 by self-proclaimed "Supreme Leader" [[General Hiss]]. During its active years, SNAKE would regularly carry out acts of sabotage, destruction, theft, and espionage upon large private and government organizations. In spite of their destructive methods, SNAKE has been known to actively discourage acts of violence against innocent third parties, prompting large waves of recruitment approximately 2 years after its founding. It continued operating as a high profile organization for several more years before ultimately declining and becoming dissolved in 2076.

== Dissolution ==
Although there is little public information on the dissolution of SNAKE, its collapse is often blamed on 3 primary factors: Low recruit retention, in-fighting among High Command, and the botched execution of several high profile plans.

Former SNAKE High Command members have spoken publicly about the dissolution, suggesting that the collapse was due in large part to the incompetence of General Hiss and hiss inability to properly maintain such a large organization.

== Resurgence ==
Shortly after the televising of the [[Penumbra's Parley Massacre]], General Hiss reappeared in Apopka Lights alongside an apparently revitalized SNAKE. Most prominent of their recent actions was the attack on [[Stairsgirl]] at Heaven's Tower, where the organization terrorized the local area before being ultimately foiled by Apopkan hero [[Mx. Cupid]].

== Structure ==
SNAKE membership is split into 3 main tiers.

===Soldiers===
Soldiers were the entry level position for a majority of former SNAKE recruits, being the main manpower behind a majority of the organization's plans. They were typically well trained and compensated for their work, but recruitment and retention declined following an apparent disregard for their population during the final years of SNAKE's existance.

===Specialists===
Specialists were highly trained and trusted members of SNAKE who were specialized in specific tasks and missions. From what little information is available, it would appear that the term 'Specialist' was relatively broad, including everything from Medical Staff to High Ordinance Explosives Specialists. Specialist groups were deployed far more sparingly than any other group in SNAKE, often being paired with a specific member of SNAKE High Command in conjunction with an equally suited mission. Despite this, they were apparently well compensated and far more likely to be promoted to said High Command.

===High Command===
SNAKE High Command was primarily built of highly trusted and skilled individuals from inside of the organization, and were in charge of all administrative action within SNAKE. According to testimony from former High Command members, members were given a high degree of autonomy with the caveat of all actions requiring Hiss' direct approval. This ultimately led to friction and in-fighting as members often felt stifled by Hiss' personal agenda, causing a high degree of instability within the organization.

== Personal Life ==
Most of their personal life is unknown due to how secretive Boss was about their identity. However, during the Parley, it was revealed that they originated from an influential Draywood family; [[The Perrones]]

Remie Perrone attended law school after high school, studying to become a judge.

Remie is survived by their older brother Xzavier and older sister Marigold, as well as their mother. All of whom have expressed that they do not condone Remie's actions and that they only do things 'the right way.'

== Abilities and Gear ==
Their mark, 'Devil's Deal', was originally a green olive branch in the center of their right palm. However, as Remie abused their mark, the branch grew into a thorny and twisted vine that snaked up their arm.

When Remie shakes hands with someone under the context of a mutual agreement, the terms of their agreement are magically enforced. Should one attempt to break the deal, there are several tiers of deterrents to stop any infraction.

The first stage is coughing up leafs. Then, thorny vines grow out of one's skin and cut into flesh. If one successfully breaks the terms of the deal, then they turn into a tree.
