Lucifer (Aka Helga Vance) was an Apopkan hero who operated from 2063 to 2075. Her hero work was ended after she was assassinated. Her mark, Holy Duality, granted her traits associated with demons and angels.

== Summary ==
Lucifer was never a very popular superhero throughout her career, remaining satisfied without much spotlight on her. Her career primarily consisted of investigating upper echelon businesses of financial and humanitarian crimes, producing reports of her findings in an effort to see such businesses suffer consequences and reform. She was moderately successful throughout her career, landing many businesspeople in jail and forcing many businesses to reform. Her hero work was cut short on July 20th, 2075, when she was assassinated in broad daylight via gunshot, fired from far away from a sniper. The culprit of her murder remains unknown to this day, and will likely never be solved.

Lucifer's mark, Holy Duality, granted her with several unusual body parts. She had the wing and arm of a demon on her left side, and an angelic wing and arm on her right side. She also had a large halo protruding from her head, glowing faintly at all times. It is believed that her great height is a result of her mark as well.

== Career ==
Bone Doctor began operating as a hero in Draywood in February of 2080 when he showed up to the scene of a traffic accident to assist in rescuing a vehicle occupant who was trapped. Since then he has been seen doing a wide variety of jobs from a variety of employers. Search and rescue, security, and occasionally fighting villains, Bone Doctor has been known as a jack of all trades. He has also worked with the Draywood Medical Heroes Association on occasion, though is not classified as a member.

His unusual mark and old age (he has said publicly that he is in his early to mid 50s) has raised some concerns over the ethics of hero work as a lifelong career. Some hero employers have mentioned they refuse to employ Bone Doctor because of the damage his mark inflicts upon himself.

* 4: Swarm - The Doctor can cause an enormous swarm of cicadas to burst from the ground, let loose in the area. These cicadas die when his power runs out, and they're completely harmless. He can also make them return to the Earth on command, and only two swarms can be active at once.
* 39: Creature Call - The Doctor can mimic the noises of animals he has heard in the past
* 69: Seed Psychokinesis - The Doctor is capable of moving any number of seeds around him telekinetically, to his heart's content. When seeds are naturally part of an object, like a fruit, he can move the object itself as well.
* 155: Great Escape - The Doctor can automatically unlock or unfasten anything that is binding or restraining someone. He can do this on command for himself, but has to touch another person to unlock their restraints.

The Bone Doctor's most important gear are his hammers and nails. He carries two miniature sledgehammers used for breaking his bones, and ten "nails" to use alongside them. These "nails" are similar in shape to golf tees, and their tips are specially designed to stick to fabric and skin, allowing him to place them upon his body to hammer if he wishes to break a bone.

Bone Doctor wears heavy armored black boots, reminiscent of ski boots. His limited fandom has dubbed them the "Solebreakers." These boots bear small number keypads on their heels, which Bone Doctor can type a specific number into to make the boots break a specific foot bone of his with the mechanisms contained inside.

A hardworking desk-jockey for [[Valiente & Knightley]], he's a reliable asset to ensure any case heralded by his employers will have ample evidence to back it up. One could argue that an on-call PI dedicated to a single law firm, whom has the ability to enter crime scenes and deliberate with police, is absurd and a possible obstruction of justice. However, the law allows any PI to work for hire, as long as they follow certain measures. Pond works well within his legal limits, and reports all evidence between both parties.

When he isn't saving any particular case, he takes direct orders from his bosses [[Valentine Valiente]] and [[Jules Knightley]]. Although, most of these responsibilities fall under the category of an office chore, such as coffee retrieval or toilet cleaning.

== Personal Life ==
Not much is known about his personal life. It's known that he's a lifetime Chitizen, you can tell by the way he talks, and that he lives in a small apartment downtown. But when it comes to leisure and off the clock activities, he's barely out and about. Some sources point to him having a history in karaoke, but he's clearly moved past that point in his life. He takes lots of overtime, sometimes pulling all-nighters on cases that might not even get resolved. He's a determined PI, and gives his absolute best to the firm.

One thing he does show a passion for, in and out of work, is his fashion sense. He takes great care in his presentation and how he looks, owning several different suits, jackets, and even makeup kits. He claims the day he learned to take care of himself was the best day of his life.

== Abilities & Gear ==
Ripley Pond mostly works with just the clothes on his back. His phone helps him do everything he physically can't as a PI. Photography, recording, notekeeping, etc. While a sharp tongue is good for investigative work, Ripley focuses his strengths into knowing his environment. Being unmarked in New Chiti invites danger to anyone venturing down the wrong rabbit hole, so the ability to clear his mind and stay focused helps him tremendously. That, and a bag of lollipops.

== Trivia ==

* Ripley's favorite animal is the raccoon. In fact, he oftentimes leaves his garbage open for the little critters. According to him, if these creatures happened to survive past the flood, then they must be worth something to the world.
