'''The Wyvern''' was a Dray villain who operated from 2046 to 2054. He was a legendary phantom thief that, to this day, has escaped capture, with no authority ever even getting a glimpse of his face.

== Career ==
As a thief, The Wyvern became distinguished for his gimmick of providing riddles about who he was, what he would steal next, and how he would steal it. He’d leave a calling card with each heist––a black, scaled egg containing a piece of paper cut into the shape of a dragon’s head, on which was a vague poem about his next escapade.

These riddles caught the Internet’s attention and catapulted The Wyvern into fame despite being a relative beginner. His heists became more and more daring, and more and more people began to theorize what his poems might mean. Entire internet cultures became dedicated to solving The Wyvern’s riddles, determining likely targets from his hints and then guessing his methods by studying the areas and posting about the best routes he might take and security flaws he might exploit––then matching those to the clues within his riddles.

Eventually, it was theorized that The Wyvern might actually be stealing security information and heist plans from his fans, and writing riddles that were vague enough that they could match whatever people came up with. The Wyvern confirmed this and began including the usernames of fans who had helped the most with a particular heist in his calling cards to credit them. This only increased his popularity, with even more people dedicating themselves to theorycrafting the perfect heists to send The Wyvern on. People with insider knowledge of banks or other common heist targets in Draywood would even volunteer information to him online for a chance at getting into the communal legend of The Wyvern.

== Mark ==
It’s unclear if The Wyvern was marked. Hardcore fans, or haters, labelled Drakespotters, would watch outside of buildings The Wyvern had hinted at being about to steal from––but no one was ever able to catch him, and even simple sightings of him were rare, much less sightings of him using a mark. A common theory among fans was that he had power related to staying hidden, especially while fleeing the scenes of his crimes, and the most popular fanon name is “Perfect Getaway”. The second most popular is “Drag-gone,” but most people think it sucks.

== Disappearance ==
The Wyvern vanished without a trace in 2054, leading behind the final, and shortest, of his messages, which was incomplete. The first part reads “WRIT INTO THE LEGEND ARE @HOWL_FOR_ME, @ALLIGAR, AND @REDTIDEZ,” a common way The Wyvern would credit people helping him on a heist. The rest, containing the riddle, reads as follows:  
“RIPPED FROM MY CHEST, YET I DON’T SEEM TO BLEED
FOR I HATH FOUND MORE THAN I EVER SHALL NEED
MY NEXT PRIZE SHALL MATCH WHAT WAS STOLEN FROM ME
IT POUNDS, POUND FOR POUND, FOR A LIFE BY” 
The last part of the poem was torn off of the paper. Fans have attempted to decipher what the riddle means for years in an attempt to find the Wyvern or at least understand what had happened to him, but none have been successful.

== Reappearance (Of The Golden Scarab of Eternal Sunshine) ==
Although most fans have given up on the cold case of The Wyvern over the years, some focus has been placed on relocating the treasures he’d stolen over his career. Most had been sold before his disappearance, but the Golden Scarab of Eternal Sunshine, a precious artifact worth millions of dollars and one of his most valuable thefts, was reportedly sold in late 2080 to an Apopkan jeweler. When questioned on the identity of the seller, he stated, “it was some white boy.” None of the other missing Wyvern treasures have turned up.
